Before you connect
- Your Maximizer account must be cloud‑hosted (Maximizer CRM Live). On‑premise installations aren’t supported.
- Your Maximizer release must be 2026.6 or higher. You can check your release in Maximizer under Administration > Version and Storage space.
- Have two details ready before you start:
- Region — where your Maximizer account is hosted: Canada or Europe.
- Company Alias — your organization’s identifier in Maximizer. Click your profile icon in the top‑right corner of Maximizer to find it.
- You’ll sign in with a Maximizer user that has permission to read contacts and create notes and tasks.
Connecting Maximizer
1
Open Settings > Integrations and click Connect on the Maximizer tile
A confirmation dialog appears showing the permissions Continuum will request. Click Connect to continue.
2
Enter your Region and Company Alias
On the Link Maximizer Account screen, select your Region and enter your Company Alias, then click Connect.
3
Sign in to Maximizer
A Maximizer sign‑in popup opens. Sign in and approve access for Continuum.
If the sign‑in window doesn’t open, your browser may be blocking popups. Allow popups for Continuum and try again.
Maximizer‑specific settings
Open Manage on the Maximizer tile to see these options: Automatic contact sync — toggle whether Continuum periodically pulls contact updates from Maximizer. This starts off — turn it on if you want contacts you’ve imported to stay up to date. Once contact sync runs, your Maximizer Hotlist tasks also sync alongside your contacts, so they’re available to Ask AI and search in Continuum. What gets pushed to Maximizer
From a meeting in Continuum, click Push to CRM to send the meeting back to Maximizer. The push includes:- The meeting summary, organized by your meeting template — saved as a note on the contact’s record
- Tasks (with due dates and assignees) — created as Hotlist tasks in Maximizer
- Meeting metadata — date, time, attendees
Tasks pushed from Continuum arrive in Maximizer with Medium priority. If a task needs a different priority, adjust it in Maximizer after the push.
Importing contacts from Maximizer
Contacts don’t sync automatically the first time. To bring contacts in:- Go to People in the left sidebar
- Click + New Contact > Import from CRM
- Pick the Maximizer contacts you want to bring in
Disconnecting
Open Manage and click Disconnect. Contacts you’ve already imported stay in Continuum — they just stop updating. Future meetings will still capture and summarize as normal; they just won’t push to Maximizer until you reconnect.Troubleshooting

Check that Maximizer shows Connected in Settings > Integrations. If it shows Needs attention or Not Connected, reconnect from the Manage dialog.

In Maximizer, click your profile icon in the top‑right corner — your company alias is shown there. If you’re still unsure, your Maximizer administrator can confirm it.

Double‑check your Region and Company Alias — if either is wrong, Maximizer can’t complete the sign‑in. Click Connect on the tile and try again with the correct details. If your organization uses Maximizer in Canada, select Canada; in the UK or Europe, select Europe.

Type at least three characters of the contact’s name. The person must also exist as a contact in Maximizer — Continuum searches your Maximizer address book directly.

Turn on Automatic contact sync in the Manage dialog — tasks sync after your contacts do, and only tasks linked to synced contacts come across. Give it a little while after enabling the toggle, then check again.

Check which Maximizer release you’re on: in Maximizer, go to Administration > Version and Storage space. The Continuum integration requires release 2026.6 or higher — if you’re on an older release, contact Maximizer about upgrading.

Use People > + New Contact > Import from CRM to bring contacts in — they don’t sync automatically. After import, future changes to those contacts in Maximizer do sync if Automatic contact sync is on.
