Skip to main contentWriting your own notes during the call
Continuum automatically captures and transcribes your meetings, so you don’t need to take notes unless you want to. The notetaker is designed to reliably capture key points, action items, and decisions on its own. But adding your own notes is a powerful way to personalize and guide the AI notetaker toward what matters most to you.
Your notes are your personal takeaways—a place to jot down what stood out to you, highlight key moments, or capture thoughts in your own words. They’re also incorporated into Continuum’s AI-generated summary, helping it better reflect your perspective, priorities, and any emotional nuance or client reactions you noticed.
Use this space to:
- Flag follow-ups or details you want highlighted
- Add personal context or next steps in your own words
- Capture nuances or client reactions the AI might not recognize
To take notes:
- Open the Notes tab during the meeting.
- Type freely—everything saves automatically.
- After the meeting, your notes are integrated and prioritized in the summary.
Using headphones for best audio quality
Continuum is designed to capture clear audio automatically, even in typical office or home environments—no special equipment required.
That said, if you want the crispest possible transcription and summaries, using headphones (or a simple headset) can make a noticeable difference. Headphones help the AI separate your voice from background noise and reduce echo from your speakers, especially when several people are speaking at once.
Think of it as a pro tip, not a requirement—just an easy way to help Continuum deliver studio-quality clarity when it matters most.
Understanding Transcript Accuracy
It’s normal for transcripts to occasionally miss or mishear a few words—especially if people talk over each other, use speakerphones, or there’s background noise. Continuum’s AI is designed to understand context, so even when the raw transcript isn’t perfect, the summary and action items will still capture the full meaning of your conversation.
You don’t need to edit or correct anything manually. The notetaker automatically cleans up the text, interprets intent, and fills in gaps using the surrounding dialogue.
If something important was discussed but phrased unclearly in the transcript, you can always add a quick note in your own words (your notes influence the AI summary) and regenerate the meeting.
