How We Detect Meetings
Continuum automatically identifies meetings on your calendar that are ready to capture. We look for events that include video conferencing links (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams), multiple attendees, or time blocks marked as busy. These meetings show up in your Continuum dashboard as soon as we spot them, giving you visibility into what’s coming up and time to prepare.
Pre-Meeting Notifications
We’ll send a push notification 1 minute before your scheduled meeting begins. You should see this appear in the top right corner of your screen.
- Click the notification to open the meeting in Continuum.
- You’ll see the meeting name, attendees, a dedicated space for notetaking and the Capture button.
- Press Capture when the meeting starts — Continuum begins recording audio from your microphone and speaker instantly.
Capturing Unscheduled Conversations
Continuum can also detect when you’re on an active call, even if it’s not scheduled in your calendar. When a call begins, we’ll offer you the option to start capturing. This feature is perfect to remind you to capture those spontaneous conversations that happen throughout your workday, like an unexpected FaceTime with a client or a last-minute call with a colleague.Preparing Meeting Context
On the meeting details page, there’s a notes field where you can add context at any stage—before, during, or after your meeting. Think of it as your workspace for everything related to the conversation. What you might include: Use this space however works for you. Some advisors add agenda items they want to cover, background info about the client or topic, key objectives for the conversation, or any context that’ll help guide the discussion. Adding context helps the AI understand what matters most to you, making your summaries sharper and more relevant.
Prepare with the AI Ask Bar
The AI assistant bar at the bottom of your meeting view is one of Continuum’s most powerful features. Even before your meeting starts, you can ask anything about the upcoming conversation and get intelligent, context-aware answers.
