# Prompts for editing a Page

> Example prompts for the AI chat on a Page: tone, new sections, structure, data, personal details, language, the covering email, and interactive content.

The AI chat on a Page works best when you write the way you would brief an assistant on your team. These prompts are starting points you can copy and adjust. To open the chat, see [Edit with the AI chat](/pages/create-and-edit#edit-with-the-ai-chat).

In the desktop app, you can click the microphone in the prompt area and speak instead of typing. For example: "Create a Page for the Smiths that summarizes their retirement goals, compares the three scenarios we discussed, and ends with our recommended next steps."

## Change the tone

* "Make the tone more formal."
* "Rewrite the personal message so it sounds more like me and less like a report."
* "Shorten the summary to three paragraphs."
* "Make the opening warmer and more conversational."
* "Make this easier for someone who has never reviewed an insurance illustration."

## Add a section

* "Add a section about the RESP contribution strategy we discussed."
* "Add a branded cover with a one-line summary."
* "Add a timeline for what happens next."
* "Add a short section explaining why we recommend the conservative scenario."
* "Add a reminder that the signed forms are due by Friday."

## Restructure the Page

* "Turn the next steps into a checklist with due dates."
* "Move the action items above the summary."
* "Split this into two sections, one for each account."
* "Group the recommendations into short-term and long-term actions."
* "Put the documents in their own section at the end."

## Work with data

* "Update the chart to show the last five years instead of three."
* "Pull the key projections out of this PDF and add them to the Page."
* "Show the two insurance quotes side by side in a table."
* "Create a chart comparing current contributions with the proposed amount."
* "Summarize the fees in this document and call out the main difference."

## Make it personal

If the Page came from a meeting, Continuum already has the transcript. Ask it to bring in something that was discussed but is missing from the draft.

* "Mention that I enjoyed meeting their daughter."
* "Reference the fact that they are retiring in 2029."
* "Connect this plan to their goal of spending winters in Arizona."
* "Make the next steps feel less formal and more collaborative."

## Change the language

* "Translate this Page to French."
* "Translate this Page to Canadian French."
* "Rewrite the summary in Spanish and keep the charts in English."

You can write prompts in any language, and Continuum answers in that language. For captured meetings in other languages, see [Transcription language](/meetings/transcription-language).

## Draft the covering email

* "Draft a follow-up message to send with this Page."
* "Write a short email that introduces this Page and asks them to review the next steps."
* "Draft a warmer version of the email for a long-time client."

## Add interactive content

A Page can hold more than text. Add an interactive element when it helps your client understand the recommendation. A plain Page that makes the next step clear is better than an elaborate one that does not.

* "Add a slider so they can see what happens if they contribute \$200 more a month."
* "Add a toggle between the conservative and the growth scenario."
* "Turn the fee comparison into a chart."
* "Create a timeline from today to their target retirement date."
* "Add a checklist they can work through before our next meeting."
