# Plans, seats, and billing

> Core and Pro plans, Standard and Assistant seat prices, changing your plan or billing cycle, and what happens when a trial ends.

Your organization has one plan, and each member has one seat. The plan decides which features your organization has. The seat decides what each person can do. Only admins can change either, under **Settings > Billing**.

## Plans

| Plan | Includes |

| **Pro** | Everything in Core, plus creating, editing, publishing, and tracking Pages |

New organizations start with a 14-day free trial.

## Seat prices

Prices are per seat, in Canadian dollars.

| Assistant, on either plan | \$45 a month | \$39 a month |

For what each seat can do, see [Seat types](/managing/team-members#seat-types). To create or edit Pages, a person needs a Standard seat and your organization needs Pro.

## Change your plan or seats

    Open **Settings** and choose **Billing**. Click **Change plan**, or **Choose your plan** during a trial.

    Pick **Core** or **Pro**, then **Yearly** or **Monthly**. Use **Edit seats** to change the number of seats.

    Click **Review**, check the new price, and click **Confirm**.

An upgrade, such as Core to Pro or monthly to yearly billing, applies right away. You are charged today, with a credit for the unused part of your current plan.

Two changes need our team: moving from **Pro** to **Core**, and moving from yearly to monthly billing. **Change plan** shows **Contact Support** for these. Email [team@oncontinuum.com](mailto:team@oncontinuum.com).

To update your card, click **Manage billing**, or **Add payment method** if none is on file.

## When the trial ends

You are charged for the seats in your organization when the trial ends. If there is no payment method on file, your subscription pauses and Continuum is blocked until you add one.

If your organization moves to Core, Pages you created stay readable, but no one can create or edit them. The Pages screens show **Upgrade to Pro to create and edit Pages**. Anyone on an Assistant seat who created Pages during the trial needs a Standard seat to keep editing them.

## Limitations

* One plan covers the whole organization. You cannot give some members Pro and others Core.
* Moving from Pro to Core, or from yearly to monthly billing, needs our team.
* Only admins can change the plan, seats, or payment method. Everyone else sees **Billing** read-only.
